Our Back Country Citizen Science Excursion is brand new to our series of authentic Key West adventures.
This trip is based out of Stock Island which is about 5 miles from downtown Key West. We base the trip outside of Key West because that is where the wilderness is.
All tours include our thoughtful presentation of Mangrove forest and of course you will be accompanied by your own private ecology guide. You will see Sea Eagles, Eagle Rays, and lots of critters that only show themselves to those willing to travel off the beaten path. To get us there we utilize one of our choice back country excursion boats. They are equipped with all the newest gadgets needed to get us safely to the backcountry and, just as important, back home again. These “Safari” boats are perfect for this adventure.
